There's going to be general elections that the junta has scheduled for next year.

They most likey want her confined beyond that time.

What will happen to her if she is convicted ?

She'll be sentenced to three to five years in prison.

He's still revered in the country.

She is an international symbol of peaceful resistance in the face of oppressioin in the late 1980's.

Well, let's hope that things improve in Burma.
